Q Write a short response essay related to the stories told in Parts 7 & 8 of Right Here, Right Now. The stories you will read are personal, compelling, emotional, and thought-provoking. Your reflective response should be the same. Write about how or what the stories made you think or feel. Be specific about which stories resonated for you -- and why. Where appropriate, connect the stories to our class content. This is your final reflection, so feel free to examine the themes of the book. (350 word minimum/500 word maximum).

In chapter seven, the text describes a life as a death row inmate. Today's class really gave me an eye opener. The class depicted how they live, we heard people's voices and you can hear in their voices they are hurting and sorry for what they have done. With that said there is no reason we should release them, instead we should rehabilitate them. We should fix and update the areas they will be staying for the remainder of their life. Yes this will cost money but we're talking about people, not animals…. This may take some time to find the financing for it but it is possible.
